Jackett Raises $1 Million in Seed Funding

Jacketa global edtech platform, raised $1 million in a seed funding round led by FBarley Ventures, Entrepreneur First and Epic Angels Networkto build its education assessment platform.

Other notable angel investors who were part of the round included Siu Rui Quekco-founder of Carousell, and Projjal GhatakCo-founder of OnLoop.

The platform was launched in India and uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to create, personalize and grade student assessments.

The new capital raised will be used to build an operating system for personalized learning and make it available to more teachers and educational institutions across India and emerging markets.

Ultraviolet Raises Capital in Series D Funding Round

Vidcare Technologies Raises $300,000 in Pre-Seed Round

Based in Pune Vidcare Technologies raised $300,000 in the pre-selection round led by social alpha. The round also saw the participation of investors, including Lavni Ventures and Derbi Foundation.

With the capital raised, the company intends to improve its product development, clinical testing, real-world effectiveness and early commercialization.

Founded in 2017 by Rohan Aggarwal, Karan Aggarwal and Saurabh Kumar Srivastavathe startup is developing wearable health tests to make diagnostic testing convenient, accessible, and available to everyone.
