Kerala’s robust progress in the start-up ecosystem and innovation will be on full display at the third edition of the annual Huddle Global conference which kicks off here on February 19.
The event is envisioned to offer a platform for start-ups to showcase their products and interact with a group of technology and industry leaders on ways to move forward in the post-COVID-19 world.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the two-day virtual event, touted as one of Asia’s largest start-up ecosystem congregations and India’s biggest entrepreneur networking platform, it was announced on Saturday. an official statement.
The big-budget brainstorming event, organized by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), would focus on business, investment and partnership opportunities for start-ups in a world grappling with the unwanted repercussions of the pandemic.
A blockchain summit is reportedly scheduled as part of the conference on the closing day.
The event would set the stage for a gathering of start-up founders, mentors, investors, industry leaders and world-renowned government officials to deliberate on a range of issues relating to the start-up ecosystem from a global perspective.
The online conclave would primarily examine the breadth of entrepreneurial opportunities around the world and explore the availability of financial and technical support for start-ups to accelerate their growth and reach.
The event would include keynote sessions, leadership talks, technology talks, a startup demo, and other business-focused activities.
A start-up exhibition of global and Kerala-based start-ups would also be organized, as well as pitch sessions and dedicated mentoring sessions, which would be led by around 30 mentors.
The start-ups would sign MoUs with Google, Habitat, Jetro, Global Accelerator Network, I Hub Gujarat, NASSCOM, CSL, etc. at the conference, he said.
